Tim Berglund runs the [August Technology Group](http://augusttechgroup.com), which provides training and development services to customers building systems with open-source tools running on the JVM and in the cloud.

His interests span web applications, business integration, data architecture, and software architecture, and helping technology teams work more effectively. He is a speaker internationally and on the [No Fluff Just Stuff](http://nofluffjuststuff.com) tour in the United States, and helps lead the [Denver Open Source User Group](http://denveropensource.org) in the Denver area.

Tim is a partner in [ThirstyHead.com](http://thirstyhead.com), where he provides Groovy and Grails training to customers of all sizes.

He lives in Littleton, CO with the wife of his youth and their three children.
